Selena Gomez could be throwing lawsuit over fake topless photo of her. TMZ reported on Wednesday, January 19 that the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress and her camp are furious that some perverts are trying to ruin her reputation with the Photoshopped picture. It was further noted that her lawyers plan to take immediate action.
Soon afterward, representative for the 18-year-old songstress reached out to the press to confirm the picture is indeed a fake. "The alleged photo of Selena Gomez is absolutely not her," the rep told E! News. Additionally, the rep stated, "Selena's family is pursuing all available remedies to deal with the offender."
The topless photo itself displays a girl with a shorter hair alleged to be the rumored girlfriend of pop sensation Justin Bieber. In it, the girl looks away from the camera while standing in a bathroom with no shirt on and her body on full display.
This isn't the first time Selena become a target on the Internet this month. On Wednesday morning, January 12, her Facebook and Twitter accounts were hacked, leaving it filled with a series of profanity-riddled messages. The "Monte Carlo" star was quick to delete the unauthorized posts and assured fans the problem is being fixed.
